new gnome wont install from ports on FreeBSD 6.3

It looks like you have WITHOUT_X11=yes in somewhere like in your
make.conf? Show us the output of 'make configure' in the graphics/cairo.
Also, show us the output of 'make -V WITHOUT_X11' in graphics/cairo.
