tracker search not working? -- and neither beagle?

By the way, when I try to extract metadata from a file
using beagle, ie

beagle-extract-content some_text_file.txt

it gives

Filename: file:///usr/home/must/some_text_file.txt
Debug: Loaded 48 filters from
/usr/local/lib/beagle/Filters/Filters.dll
Unable to filter
file:///usr/home/must/some_text_file.txt:
posix_fadvise

so beagle is unable to filter the file (any file
contents actually, making the concept of desktop
search void) because as I read elsewhere by googling
'freebsd posix_fadvise', at least as of 6.0 FreeBSD
does not have posix_fadvise implemented (has only
posix_madvise)?

cheers, m
