how to set LC_MESSAGES in GNOME 2.4

Hello, All!

I've installed gnome-2.4rc1 from Joe's experimental ports. All's going
fine, except one little thing: I prefer to use russian language in LANG,
and C locale in LC_MESSAGES and LC_TIME. In gnome-2.2 this was possible
by adding
	export LC_MESSAGES=C
	export LC_TIME=C
to ..../gdm/Sessions/Gnome. In the new GDM Sessions subdir gone, so I've
tried to add theese lines to all the scripts, but this doesn't help :(

Maybe, behaviour, when input supports russian, but apps' messages are in
english can be reached some other way now?
