Ok, after https://reviews.freebsd.org/D24330 the webcam is detected.

I am getting a green flicker however and I have filed for this a new bug:

https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=245505

Hans Petter - I get the same green screen when launching the webcam for
a first time with pwcview - the picture remains green until the webcam
sends something. Where is this "green" thing coming from? Is it an empty
webcam buffer? Is there any additional debugging in webcamd I can try?

to sum up:
- the green picture appears once in pwcview until the webcam appears to work,
    after this it works stable

- the green picture never appears in firefox

- green screen flashes accross the webcam picture whenever I use chromium

Also:

participants in the Zoom meeting cannot hear my audio at all (the audio
device gets connected, and I can enable it in chromium).
I have noticed few ioctl warnings and filed them under
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=245624
but maybe those are not related at all.

Any ideas how to troubleshoot this? The mic works fine otherwise (also in firefox).
