One more on aic7xxx

Dear listmembers,
looking through aic7xxx_osm.c I found the option-setting

#ifdef CONFIG_AIC7XXX_DV_SETTING
#define AIC7XXX_CONFIGED_DV CONFIG_AIC7XXX_DV_SETTING
#else
#define AIC7XXX_CONFIGED_DV -1
#endif

very similar to different settings that are configurable by /usr/src/linux/.config; however, this one is not. Is this intentional?
