EXB-8200 only gets 1gb on a 112m tape.

Hi,

A friend of mine has the 8200 as well -- same problem. He found the
attached (sorry its html, but am ascii conversion was'nt that nice
because of the table) document.

See the last paragraph, right under the table. According to that -- and
with the full scsi-command documentation I tried to figure out how to do
that. The small c-code works fine with my EXB-8500, so I never got to
know if the 8200 is working now. At least reading all the flags from tape
(more then mt want's to show) is working fine at it does not reject the
select mode for the new tape type. But if it let you write now more than
~1.2GB in his case I don't know.

If you want to try the code I can send you the source from at home
(that's why I didn't include it right away :-)
