Hi,

As I did not find information about SCSI HW failures that might generate
this
message

Aug 20 10:50:17 charlie kernel: SCSI disk error : host 0 channel 0 id 1

Aug 20 10:50:17 charlie kernel: (scsi0:0:1:0) Successfully completed

I thought someone on this list might be able
to tell me what is going on with my IBM SCSI harddrive ? This error
appeared four or five times this year but twice in the last two days.
Last night, it put my box in an unusable state (unable to log in), and
this morning, it appeared also but it seems that this had no dramatic
effect.

Could you tell me what kind of error this could be ? At first I thought
this had to do with my SCSI CDROM that sometimes hangs the SCSI bus but
I am not conviced anymore ...

Thanks very much in advance,

DL
