There is a aic7xxx-5.0.19-2.0.34.patch.gz on ftp.dialnet.net,
which I used.
Thanks to your suggestion, I tried out stock 2.0.34 kernel with 5.0.14
and it appears to work.
Is this a known problem or shall I do a binary search between 5.0.14
and 5.0.19 to find out which patch breaks the driver on my machine?
