My changes for these issues are mixed in with many other changes to
the zvol code and so are likely non-trivial to separate.  I haven't
gotten far enough in our upstreaming efforts to reach this part of the
change stack.  Review & help wanted pushing things to illumos.

Could you elaborate on this deadlock?  I did address several zvol deadlocks.
