I just cvsup'ed mac sources yestrday, did a buildworld && installworld &&
kernel, rebooted and got this on startup (hand copied):
...
Entropy harvesting: interrupts ethernet point_to_point
kernek dumps on /dev/ad0s1b
NULL mp in getnewvnode() <-----
swapon: adding /dev/ad0s1b as swap device
Starting file system checks:
/dev/ad0s1a: FILESYSTEM CLEAN; SKIPPING CHECKS
/dev/ad0s1a: clean, 89522 free (450 frags, 11134 blocks, 0.4% fragmentation)
/dev/ad0s1d: 8 DUP I=1200
/dev/ad0s1d: UNEXPECTED SOFT UPDATE INCONSISTENCY; RUN fsck MANUALLY.
THE FOLLOWING FILE SYSTEM HAD AN UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCY:
ufs: /dev/ad0s1d (/usr)
Automatic file system check failed; help!
...
i got fdropped to /bin/sh, and ran fsck -y,
there's a bunch of DUPs, a FREE BLOCK COUNT(S) WRONG IN SUPERBLOCK, and
that's about it.
this was upgrading from a 5.0-CURRENT build of about one or two weeks ago.
