We have had mistakes show up briefly on stable/* branches in the past.
I stand by the view that stable/* branches are development branches
where this sort of thing can periodically happen so people running
production systems on stable/* branches may need to live with doing
a little cleanup if/when this sort of thing happens. But in this
case it had been in stable/7 for a while *and* it appeared in a
releng/* branch that we've been asking people to test for us as
part of the 7.4-RELEASE process. So in this case I asked we try
the symlink thing to see if that can lessen the impact on people
who have been helping with the tests (given up to now I haven't
been providing packages on the ISOs that increases the odds testers
have been compiling stuff...).
