I have scripts that I stole for nanobsd that does that. I stole them from
the release process.

Perhaps we need to refactor things so we have just one copy of the scripts.
This code copying will
bring nothing but pain in the end. Already crochet has had issues with
lagging due to copied
rather than shared code.
