Sorry to ask banal questions, but there is no useful information in the
message at all.  Does disabling x2APIC allow machine to boot ?

Show the verbose dmesg of the successfull boot from the version of kernel
which you use now.  Apply the debugging patch I provided to you, and
show me either a screenshot or _exact_ copy of the last messages.
