Happy New Year! And this is just a vigorous discussion to make things better. :)
As far as I can tell, we can build successfully with clang 3.5 and 3.4.1, though with
too many warnings not being errors. There might be an odd thing I overlooked, but I
tried to be thorough.
Of course, all the sys/conf/*.mk files could use a good cleanup.
