One clarification. svnlite is intended to be a lighter weight
alternative to the devel/subversion port, not to eliminate the port.

Things like svn.freebsd.org and the mirrors could never use "svnlite"
and will always run the port because they need the py-subversion API
library or the apache DAV plugins. That isn't something I could ever
imagine making its way into svnlite - it wasn't the point.

For what its worth, the freebsd.org cluster has been mostly running
svn-1.8.x for over a week, including svn.freebsd.org and all but one
mirror.
