Mmmm, I don't know who complains, but there are so many ports with a -
in PORTNAME that I don't understand the problem.

Now, if you are talking about PORTVERSION, yes, you cannot put a - in
there, but you should not be using PORTVERSION anyway, DISTVERSION is
what I wrote, and what you should be using.
