Well thats off topic, but it dosent work for me on a T480 (2018 model) not even getting a full screen yet 
(tested with scfb and intel / drm-kmod). However please lets not get deeper in to it, i'll send a seprated mail
on that later.

I agree on that, but gtk3 still build and works fine without WAYLAND on, and honestly i'd preferd that way for firfox too.
