Well you have bumped php so I gues you have found yourself than something in php
was linked to the library, no?

otherwise https://www.freshports.org/devel/oniguruma/ would show you

grep shows you it is referenced in lang/php56/Makefile.ext reading it you would
figure out php*mbstring needs it.
