I had seen the thread as well, but I cannot reproduce that on my machine(s)

Yes same here, the moment that I start 2.3 it works fine for a little, but then at some
point replication just stops working and processes start to hang. For some users it
works fine, but for others it doesn’t. Reverting to 2.2.35 resolves the issues that
I run into..

Note that I wonder whether we should try to poke Aki at Dovecot to see whether we
can collaborate on fixing this. There are at least 3 to 4 people that ran into this so
it’s a bigger issue already (various workloads/configurations seem to trigger this).
