Hi Bapt,

The upstream samba project keeps 3 releases supported at any one time:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_Release_Planning

Version 4.5 was only discontinued upstream on 13th March 2018 - it was
marked as deprecated in ports a day later, with a 3 month warning period
before it is removed.

Regards,
Ben
