Do you mean 1.8 is reaching upstream EoL?  Or just you discontinue 1.8?

Also, devel/subversion18 fails to build. See bug 227614. I'd appreciate
if you fix it for quarterly branch. It continues until end of June even
though this weekend passes by, right?
