As a heads up, it appears there's been a regression with regard to
libressl. It built with DEFAULT_SSL=libressl before with the older
version, but now it fails with:

--- src/CMakeFiles/mosquitto_passwd.dir/all ---
CMakeFiles/mosquitto_passwd.dir/mosquitto_passwd.c.o:mosquitto_passwd.c:function
output_new_password: error: undefined reference to 'EVP_MD_CTX_new'
CMakeFiles/mosquitto_passwd.dir/mosquitto_passwd.c.o:mosquitto_passwd.c:function
output_new_password: error: undefined reference to 'EVP_MD_CTX_free'
--- lib/CMakeFiles/libmosquitto.dir/all ---
