This is totally awesome.  While I never really used Gnome2, many regard it
as one of the last true DE's (the other being KDE3), since both G3/K4 had
missed the turn and going a wrong direction.  So it's nice to have Mate in
ports.

I wish we had someone ported Trinity, but apparently, despite all the nice
words, no one cared enough to actually sit down and do all the hard work. :(
