This was one of six ports still stuck with GCC 4.8 (interestingly 
none depends on GCC 4.9), the others being audio/beast (which I'll 
mark for deprecation soon since nobody seems to care and our version 
is many, many behind upstream), devel/api-sanity-autotest, devel/elfutils, 
sysutils/memtest86+ and sysutils/uefi-edk2-bhyve (which has seen some
activity lately).
