Okay, I'll do that.

Practically USE_GCC=4.8+ and USE_GCC=yes are very similar in 
their effect (unless GCC 4.8 is installed and GCC 5 is not),
and only USE_GCC=4.8 really guarantees only GCC 4.8 is used.

A problem sticking with GCC 4.8 is that newer platforms are
not fully supported with that yet.
