Please do not rush on removing ${PORTSIDR} from your ports as it will complexify
merging to the stable branch!

Until the next quarterly is branch only consider dropping ${PORTSDIR} for new
ports, infrastructure and or major upgrades that will not find their way to the
stable branch.
