Please keep in mind, BSD, ZLIB and a few other licenses include something
like

Copyright (c) <YEAR>, <OWNER>

in which the copyright holder exerts year and name, see
http://opensource.org/licenses/BSD-2-Clause as an example

Currently the licensing framework does not include a means of
incorporating name/date with a template file for viewing, so it is just
better to display the provided license file.
