the xorg-7.7_3 package will not run on a blank system

I updated a Lenovo ideapad 700 from 11.3 --> 12.2. With only the xorg 
package installed, it fails as shown below.

On its face the xorg package did not include or install the intel driver 
correctly. From google and FreeBSD questions it would appear that the 
answer is go back to 11.4 or wait for a working package in 12 or beyond. 
On a working 11.3 system Xorg.0.log gives the [Failed to load module 
"intel"] so probably not relevant. It is this kind of stuff that makes 
xorg so much fun.
