Just upgraded from 12.1-RELEASE-p10 to 12.2-RELEASE and experiencing exactly
the same issue with an RX580 using the latest drm-fbsd12.0-kmod-4.16.g20200221
binary package. Booting with the old kernel (12.1) works, but booting with the
new (12.2) kernel produces the same backtrace as in the OP's screenshot.
Unfortunately there is no crash dump in /var/crash either.
