While it would be hard to find modern desktop or laptop without USB support, it
might not necessarily be served by the FreeBSD's native usb(4) driver.

Last year Haiku made quite a progress with their USB stack*, claiming that
much-improved driver hopefully will be more useful as a reference than
FreeBSD's, OpenBSD's, or Linux' to other OS developers since those drivers are
so badly organized that it's often hard to tell exactly what is going on vs.
what the spec says should happen (though OpenBSD's is relatively sane here.)

It would be nice to bring Haiku USB stack to the FreeBSD ports and make it
available as an alternative to our native one.
