I can't believe all of this is finally coming together. Big thanks
to everyone who contributed!

Two questions:
- pkg-message mentions setting kern.evdev.rcpt_mask=6, I've been
  using kern.evdev.rcpt_mask=12 with this patch for years.
  Are there any practical advantages of using kbdmux (as
  suggested by these instructions)?
- Will we get an entry in UPDATING for users who didn't follow
  this development over the last couple of years?
