One thing I've noted in a fresh install test is that xf86-input-libinput isn't
installed by default, and we need this now.
The xorg-drivers meta-package should install it.
Also if I leave the kern.evdev.rcpt_mask to 3 I have keyboard but no mouse.
Starting moused solve the problem (patch in PR 238491 doesn't help).
So maybe it's really time to change the default mask. At least we should have
this info noted in pkg-message.
Will test on 12.1 soon-ish
