Can someone take a quick look at

and either confirm or deny the assertion that the declaration should use 
extern?  The same issue has been raised elsewhere:

I'd like to unbreak science/afni ASAP.  Adding extern to the 
declaration(s) in GLwDrawA.h would do it, but if you disagree with this 
change I'll have to hack around it in afni.
