While technically my old A6-APU has AMD processor-graphics (which would

suggest amdgpu), RADEON is the correct driver here, since this is not new

enough.

OK, how you have the newest latest hardware and how you are getting free

publicity and enormous marketing-capacities without any costs from these

technical mailing lists is not exactly my concern, since if it was, then I

would not not be working on pretty much the oldest productive PC around here,

right?? And NVidia is also very very interesting (for some people), I am

sure about that.

OK, well it seems I am 80% fine now with the radeon-driver, I have checked and

it is also in use on my main desktop PC with an older (CAICOS) graphics card.

But radeon could still need some configuration tuning, because the picture

appears a bit snowy on the larger digital screen, which wasn't the case with

Debian-oldstable, which became old-oldstable recently, time to upgrade soon.

Seems OK now finally, without using AMDGPU-driver from ports,

this was also a good read:

You see I changed to FreeBSD12, because installing TrueOS (and disabling

boot) turned out an 'unrepeatable error'.

This seems mostly identical, also gave me ZFS-root and many more options

during install-time, probably I could also use open-RC here, but that is not

even necessary, so it does not really matter which one you love the most.
