Bugzilla Automation <bugzilla at FreeBSD.org> has asked freebsd-x11 mailing list
<x11 at FreeBSD.org> for maintainer-feedback:
Bug 228673: [PATCH] graphics/mesa-dri - configure script fails with BSD grep
https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=228673

--- Description ---
The configure script uses a non-standard syntax not supported by the BSD grep
in -CURRENT. This is easily fixed by use of grep -E or egrep (see attached
patch, which makes configure work with ancient and current GNU grep and BSD
grep).

The problematic command is:

echo $platforms | grep -q "x11\|drm"

The standard compliant form that does not depend on GNU grep is:

echo $platforms | egrep -q "x11|drm"
