--- Comment #8 from John Hein <z7dr6ut7gs at snkmail.com> ---
After 'pkg delete -f ...' and build/install of mesa-libs, you can be left with
some dangling dependencies (look for old packages in 'pkg info -d -a'). Just
as one example, I had this after the 'pkg delete -f' and mesa-libs install:
% pkg info -d cairo
cairo-1.14.8,2:
xcb-util-renderutil-0.3.9_1
pixman-0.34.0
libxcb-1.12_2
libXrender-0.9.10
libXext-1.3.3_1,1
libX11-1.6.5,1
glproto-1.4.17
dri2proto-2.8
fontconfig-2.12.1,1
freetype2-2.7.1
png-1.6.29
libGL-17.0.3
libEGL-17.0.3
glib-2.50.2_2,1
gettext-runtime-0.19.8.1_1
Doing a rebuild of all ports that depend on the forcibly deleted packages
resolves that. 'portmaster -o graphics/mesa-lib graphics/gbm graphics/libglap
i graphics/libglesv2 graphics/libEGL graphics/libGL' would be the way to go,
except I don't think -o works when replacing a list of ports with one
consolidated new port (better for a single port rename). Not sure about
portupgrade -o.
