Mikhail, you haven't provided feedback for this question. Knowing if this is a
recent regression or an old bug is important if the maintainer would like to
report upstream and come up with a better workaround.

For example, see bug 217664 which led to
graphics/mesa-dri/files/patch-src_egl_drivers_dri2_platform__x11.c.
