Help diagosing problem using xv(1) to display PNG images?

Hadn't, as I wasn't at all clear that xv was at fault -- it, after all,
hadn't been changing. :-}

Turns out I had ImageMagik built & installed already... and using it,
the images render Just Fine (as well).
Thanks! I'll see what I can figure out -- probably at a lower priority,
since I (now) have alternatives -- and then take appropriate action.
