Yes, we should update DRM (so in the kernel) as often as we can. For
stable releases (stable/10 now, stable/11 in the near future), we will
also try to merge changes if we can.

But I hope we can provide DRM in the Ports tree as well. Currently, we
provide DRM for FreeBSD 9.3-RELEASE in x11-drivers/drm-kmod. This is DRM
from stable/9 + i915 hw context, required by Mesa 9.2+.

If we can continue to update this port for newer stable releases, this
would be the most convenient solution for end users.

Beside DRM, the rest of the graphics stack lives in the Ports tree and
is quite up-to-date now.
