Firstly, thanks for your efforts on this!

This does not book X11 at all on my NEC Lavie HZ750, which is the same as
the Lenovo Lavie Z sold in USA (the model with the normal screen, not the
touchscreen / 360deg model).

I am booting in UEFI mode, and don't notice any change to the screen upon
loading the i915kms kernel driver.

X11 detects and loads the intel driver (among others), but eventually fails
to start with "no screens found".

Any ideas? Please see attached dmesg, pciconf -lvv, Xorg.0.log.
