I was told by jkim@ that there is a problem with the patch due to the
change in the synapticshw struct in sys/sys/mouse.h -- ABI
compatibility problem.

I don't know how to correctly fix the patch to get it into an
acceptable state (#ifdef maybe?), so I was hoping someone with a bit
more expertise could user the changes in with more correctness.
