x11 problem

I recently bought this FeeBSD-8.2 DVD. I can not run x11. The logfile tell me the it cant load libfbdev and  I could not finde it. Besides, it tell me it cant get core pointer and core kyboard. I dont think what i bought should be a garbage.Do you extect I shoud get newer FreeBSD rom freebsdmall. I run xdm the pointer and cursor is freezing. I cant do anything.
