Xorg help needed

Hi.
Reading through this http://miwi.bsdcrew.de/2011/03/freebsd-needs-fresh-blood/, I got the impression some help is needed.

Where can I get some more details on how I can help? I have experience with ports and src (even sent some patches for src in the past) but have never been involved enough to be a port maintainer and or src committer. This seems a good opportunity to dwelve into  Xorg.
