 Your synopsis is confusing...  You have the PR listed against 
 x11-drivers/xf86-video-radeonhd but then you say that  it's the  radeon 
 driver that causes this problem.  radeon != radeonhd.  Which driver are 
 you using?  Are you still having this problem?
