 The problem is not purely FreeBSD related. I installed Debian unstable,=20
 if Debian ist told to use KMS, the problem does not occur, if Debian=20
 runs without KMS it exhibits the same problem as FreeBSD.
 
 So I guess it is really caused by some update in xf86-video-ati=E2=80=A6
