I've just tried do use
pkg_add -r tp://
ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/packages/graphics/libGL-7.4.4.tbz
and it gave me a list of installed ports/packages that needed updating. Once
of which is libXext.
I had libXext-1.0.5.1 installed, but apparently libGL needs libXext-1.1.1.1.
As soon as I had upgraded libXext to the latest version, I was able to use
ports to reinstall libGL
(and then ffmpeg)
