Please set Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" in your device section.  Either
driver *should* work.  Note that if you card has HDMI that I've recently
discoved that mplayer/totem appear to try and sync video to the audio
and if the HDMI port is the default codec then the video will play way
too fast.  The solutions that I have found at the moment are to use the
radeonhd driver with the "Audio" option enabled.  Or to set
hw.snd.default_unit=X, where X is the proper system codec.
