Abnormal CPU load while just usual terminal output

Hi

After recent Xorg upgrade I've see abnormal CPU load on just:
nice 20 make buildworld

and from another terminal:
nice 20 portupgrade -a

Surprisingly ~80% of CPU (by top) was eaten by Xorg process.

both process was run under gnome-terminal.

Minimizing of terminals does not solve problem, but putting build
process under screen and open inactive screen page solve problem (xorg
eats now ~3%).
(same if open inactive tab of gnome-terminal).

I've seen something like that before upgrade of X, but it did eat 15-20%
in worst case.

Build processes do not produce much output (few lines per second).

Looks like something seriously broken.
