I found a FreeBSD port of version 6.8.0 of the FGLRX driver on this forum:
http://www.freebsdforums.org/forums/printthread.php%3Ft%3D37837+ati+fglrx+freebsd&hl=nl&ct=clnk&cd=7

I'm currently trying to install it.
