I'm using a
(--) PCI:*(0:2:0) Intel Corporation 82946GZ/GL Integrated Graphics
Controller rev 2, Mem @ 0x50100000/20, 0x40000000/28, I/O @ 0x20e0/3
with Xorg 7.2 on 7.0-CURRENT from yesterday. DRM and i915drm are
compiled into the kernel.
When I try to setup wine using winecfg my xterm fills up with the
following errors.
dan at home$ winecfg
wine: creating configuration directory '/home/dan/.wine'...
wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00fb00fa at address
0xfb00fa (thread 0009), starting debugger...

wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x00fb00fa at address

Using Ctrl-C to stop this shows
error: [drm:pid1805:drm_close] *ERROR* can't find authenticator and
kern.ipc.maxpipekva exceeded warnings.
Winecfg appears to work quite well on 6.2-RELEASE-p6 but DRI support is
not functional so I needed to upgrade to 7.0. Apologies if this is the
wrong list to send this report to.
